Grehan is one of the last Mk1 Southerly 115 yachts to be built by Northshore at their Itchenor yard. She is number 131 (1992) which shows both her pedigree and the great success of the Southerly design which is still (after over twenty years) in production in Mk4 guise and very much a similar boat.

In brief, Grehan is sloop rigged with roller reefed headsail and mainsail; she also has a hydraulically operated (push a switch) massive cast iron keel and grounding plate. Her internal arrangement is as near ideal as we can imagine (we are professional designers) and can sleep up to seven.

We have owned Grehan for seven years (we are the third owners) and enjoyed every minute aboard her (including some excellent offshore sailing as far as Gibraltar and Morocco, exploring the French inland waterways and living aboard for three years). She is a truly great boat.

Welcome

We are genuinely sad to sell her, but we now want to explore much more of the European waterways. So we don't really need sails, or a mast . . .
